Participating in student organizations is a vital part of the CU Engineering experience. The following student organizations are hosted by the College of Engineering and Applied Science:

University of Colorado Engineering CouncilÌýis the student governing body for the College of Engineering and Applied Science. It'sÌýcomposed of representatives from each of the student professional and honorary societies, as well as other interested engineering students. Any engineering student may participate in the bi-weekly meetings. Established in 1904,ÌýColorado Engineer Magazine, or CEMÌýas it has become known, is the oldest student publication at the University of Colorado Boulder. Ìýis a group of students and educators that is dedicated to improving undergraduate education in the College of Engineering and Applied Science at CUÌýBoulder.ÌýTheyÌýfinanceÌýinnovative projects in undergraduate and graduate education, including the ITL Laboratory, the CAD computer lab, new course offerings, new lab equipment, and cutting-edge research. °Õ³ó±ðÌýÌýis an honorary service organization involving a select group of academically successful, service-oriented undergraduates who promote academic excellence in the college through peer academic support.Ìý The fellows provide study sessions for difficult courses, informal help with coursework, and general academic advice and assistance.Ìý

Ìýis a non-profit organization that helps disadvantaged communities improve their quality of life through implementation of environmentally and economically sustainable engineering projects, while developing internationally responsible engineering students.
